Room for Peace is an independent, nonpartisan educational website about agreements, diplomatic processes and people who worked towards peace. It supports Israel’s right to exist and the Palestinian people’s right to an independent state, and rejects terrorism and attacks on civilians. Featuring a person, position or link does not endorse all their actions or imply sponsorship.

Information, sources and maps

Content is for learning and reference, not legal, diplomatic or professional advice. Processes change and sources may be incomplete or disputed. Check the stated date and linked source. Maps are illustrative, not legal boundary maps or determinations of sovereignty. Map period filters affect agreement lists only.

Copyright and reuse

Rights in photographs, speeches, songs and recordings remain with their owners, subject to each item’s licence and credit. Public availability does not grant permission to copy. Quotations and references serve educational and documentary purposes; this does not establish that every reuse is fair use.
